Accessibility Score
ClearSight gives every page and site an accessibility score from 0 to 100.
What the score means
| Score | Rating | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 80–100 | Good | Few or no significant issues. Site is largely accessible. |
| 50–79 | Needs Work | Moderate issues present. Some users with disabilities will have trouble. |
| 0–49 | Poor | Serious accessibility problems. Significant barriers for users with disabilities. |
How it’s calculated
The score penalizes each issue based on its severity:
| Severity | Penalty per issue |
|---|---|
| Critical | −10 points |
| Serious | −5 points |
| Moderate | −2 points |
| Minor | −1 point |
The score starts at 100 and deductions are applied, floored at 0. Dismissed issues are excluded from scoring.
Site score vs page score
- Page score — calculated from issues found on that specific page
- Site score — the average of all page scores in the most recent crawl
AI enrichment and scoring
If AI enrichment fails for a page, ClearSight falls back to a heuristic score based on issue counts alone. These pages are marked completed_partial in the crawl status.
